I have this friend and he is doing something AMAZING and so inspirational that it makes me want to do more.
My friend Adam Yu of Bondi, Australia, is currently embarking on a 3000 km run through the streets, villages, cities, and countrysides of Europe, raising money for Arts Access Australia (AAA), a disability-led organization that promotes the social model of disability and how they're viewed, and promotes programs that improve access within the arts for those with impairments in Australia. Together with The Why You Collective {out of Bondi Beach}, Adam has already raised over $1,000 for the organization.
How great is that?!
He started his run in Barcelona on February 15th and is running straight to Amsterdam, one day at a time. He's currently in France and has had quite the exciting adventure thus far... from experiencing some amazing views and tasting some good European food, to having a visit with a mayor in France and meeting some encouraging people along the way.
Please follow & support Adam through his daily updates on his Instagram page and here. For more information on AAA or to donate to this amazing cause, check out GiveNow.
I would love to hear about other inspirational stories, please do share in the comments! Have a wonderful Thursday & get Inspired!!
