On Saturday, my hubby and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary! I really can't believe we've been married for 9 years, and everything we've done and accomplished in that time. To celebrate, we took the kids to our city's old town where there was a Rod Run. There were so many cool, old cars on display. I'm not much of a car person but the kids had a blast looking at everything, eating snow cones and playing in the bounce houses. The weather was also amazing {low 80's}! I hadn't been to the Rod Run since I was a kid so bringing my kids was pretty neat.
Later in the afternoon, we took the older two kids to my mom's and Thomas, baby J and I went to dinner. We were suppose to go down to the W Hotel in San Diego for dinner but by the time we got the kids cleaned up and to my mom's, I was ready for bed ha {story of my life}. I did ask my hubs if we could just order in some Chinese and hang around the house, but he really wanted to try out this authentic Italian Pizzeria where he had hear the pizza was made by a man straight from Italy. The pizza there was the closest we have found to the pizza we would get in Germany or Italy so this made the hubs happy. But let me tell you, taking a baby that's just learned to walk to a busy restaurant was no fun. At one point, baby J crawled on the table and nearly knocked all our drinks over. He was flirty with everyone so no one seemed to mind his antics but dinner was by no means calm or romantic.
Once we got home it was a relaxed night, full of us both on our computers and in bed by 11:00. That's our life though and overall the day was all that I wanted it to be... and a nice way to start our 10th year of married life.
