I'm back with another recipe using my new favorite cooking item, won ton wrappers. I have never been a fan of fried mozzarella sticks, as I don't eat fried food often... or cheese for that matter. So fried mozzarella sticks have never been a go to snack food for me. But when my daughter came home from school last week and wanted something different but with cheese, I needed to get creative. I wanted something a bit on the healthier side but still yummy enough that my picky eater would love it. I can happily say that I succeeded. So for all you cheese lovers out there, this simple recipe is for you...
Ingredients:
- 20 Won Ton wrappers {Nasoya}
- 5 Mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into fourths {20 cheese sticks}
- Olive oil spray
Directions:
- Place one won ton wrapper on cooking surface
- Put one cheese stick slice from corner to opposite corner
- Fold wrapper over cheese
- Roll wrapper until cheese is tight inside
- Place on baking sheet
- Spray with oil
- Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes, then take out and flip each wrap over and bake for an additional 6 minutes or until light brown
- Remove from oven and let cool
- Enjoy with dipping sauces or alone!
