My new food obsession are won ton wrappers...I loved them raw as a kid and I'm finding them very helpful around the kitchen now. You can seriously use them in so many dishes and treats.
I've been busy using wonton wrappers in many recipes and coming up with a few new ones.
{So don't be surprised if you start seeing more recipes using won ton wrappers in the coming weeks}
A fun and simple snack that so far the whole family has loved are some light and crispy crackers, done three ways.
Pesto Parmesan Crackers:
Ingredients:
- 20 Wonton wrappers {I used Nasoya}
- 2 tablespoons pesto
- Olive oil spray
- Grated parmesan
Instructions:
- Cut each wrapper into halves
- Place on greased baking sheet
- Using a cooking brush or spoon, apply wrapper with desired amount of pesto
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese
- Bake for 6 minutes or until light brown and crispy at 375 degrees
- Take out and let sit for 5 minutes
- Enjoy!
Cheese Filled Wonton Crackers:
Ingredients:
- 10 Wonton wrappers
- Olive oil spray
- Grated cheese of choice {I used a Mexican blend}
- Sea salt for taste
Instructions:
- Cut wrappers into fourths in the shape of triangles
- Place on a greased baking sheet and spray with oil
- Place grated cheese on each triangle piece
- Fold each wrapper and pinch shut but not in the middle, just where the two pieces meet
- Bake for 5 minutes or until light brown at 375 degrees
- Take out and let cool for 5 minutes
- Enjoy!
Light & Crispy Simple Wonton Crackers:

Instructions:

Hey pretty girl, these look delicious, I must try them, I just checked the calories an for 1 ounce they are only 81 calories. And would be good for hubby as I can control the salt.
