3 Emotions I'm feeling this Week +Wordless Wednesday Linky!

I realized I went to Target everyday last week, each time to get one thing {I had forgotten the day before} and left with way too much stuff. I'm banned this week and that makes me sad.

This was me, crushed when I finished Tess and the d'Urbervilles the other night... I knew how it ended as I've read it multiple times before. I'm not sure if I cry because of the death or the fact the book is over?

Me pretty much on a daily basis... I wish I could eat everything I wanted and not gain an ounce... working out is great and all, and currently it is my everything, but dang, just #givemeallthefood

This is our 48th week of the "Oh My Heartsie Girls Wordless Wednesday", our Co-Hosts and myself choose the features that we share. Girls Sleepover Breakfast

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #FuelTheirAdventures #CollectiveBias

Aww, so my sweet Heidi had her first sleepover the other night and it was so much fun. We did crafts, played games and even had a dance party with glow sticks, glow in the dark balloons and a black light. But the part my daughter was most looking forward to was breakfast the next morning. I let her pick whatever she wanted and told her I would make a mini buffet of her picks.

For the main dishes, we went with:
  • Homemade pancakes
  • Cantaloupe
  • Fruit salad
  • Glazed doughnuts
For the drinks, I stuck with one thing that made all the girls faces light up:
  • Dannon® Danimals®
  • Water

I knew since the girls stayed up until 1:00 am, they were going to need something to fuel them and help start their Sunday morning. Dannon® Danimals® provide "Only the Good Stuff®" that the girls loved! With no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors, as well as provides a good source of calcium and vitamin D, these little bottles went quick. Plus, I felt like a good hostess giving these to my daughter's closest friends.

You can find  Dannon® Danimals® and other Dannon® products at Walmart. I found mine right in the yogurt section of my nearest Super Walmart. Also, for all you sports fans out there, Dannon® Danimals® has a the Play60 contest going on right now, where if you find a "Golden Bongo" bottle {located in specially marked packages}, you could win a Play60 Field Day for your school with NFL pros! See here for more details on this great contest!

I would love to hear how your family enjoys Dannon® Danimals®? Do you enjoy them at breakfast time or as a snack throughout the day? Maybe you use the bottle as a part of a craft? For more info on all the fun ideas with Dannon® Danimals®, check out their site here! And as always, have a wonderful day!

Cinnamon Salted Caramel Apple Chips

So now that Fall is in full swing {at least the calendar says it is because it sure still feels like Summer up in here} I'm busting out the Autumn recipes and getting down in the kitchen with apples, pumpkins and squashes, and even using my oven more.

I've been a huge fan of apple crisps and chips for years now. I think they're the perfect treat for when I'm craving something sweet and crunchy but want to stay on the healthy side. And who doesn't like a caramel apple every now and again, huh? These bad boys are so darn good, who needs a whole caramel apple when you can eat apple chips? And there simple to make, too! A perfect Fall treat that everyone will love.

  • 2-4 Golden Delicious apples, or any green apples
  • cinnamon
  • caramel topping
  • sea salt
  • Cut apples into 1/8 in slices and put onto a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over apple slices
  • Bake for 40 minutes at 300 degrees, then turn over slices and bake for an additional 30 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes
  • Drizzle room temperature caramel topping over apple slices
  • Sprinkle sea salt over caramel and let sit for 10 minutes
  • Enjoy!!

Bath Time Fun with SPONGELLE

Do your kids love taking baths? I know mine do, but we are in a drought here in California so bath time has changed a little in the last few months. I have my boys share a bath and use very little water. Something that has helped with making bath time for my boys fun, easy and has also helped conserve water is the brand new SPONGELLE Sponge Animals. These cute little animal sponges have body wash infused right inside the sponge. Just add a little bit of water and the sponge gets nice and lathered up... and it has a great fruity smell, too!

The Sponge Animals come with heaps of benefits, which includes being hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested, sulfate-free, paragon-free and cruelty-free. They are designed for kids aged 3 and up, but I also use it on Jake (1) as this is the only sponge he lets me use on him! He just loves that it is a fishie that is cleaning him. And the sponges are gentle, perfect for an all over wash. Plus, we are still using ours and it has been over a week. With proper care, I've been able to make our sponge last.

If you are interested in trying this cool new bath time product, use code "BBLOGGER20" for a 20% off discount at www.spongelle.com {Good through Oct 19} And happy washing!
