Party Style {book review & GIVEAWAY}

I'm happy to share with everyone this book I had the opportunity to review, Party Style: Kids' Parties From Baby to Sweet 16. Let me just tell you, after reading this book, my creative/ party planning juices are in full force. Even though I just threw a kids party last weekend, I want to plan about a dozen more after reading through Gemma Touchstone's Party Style. You really can't help but be inspired after seeing the bright, beautiful photos. Even if you think you're not the party planning type, this book walks you through all the steps it takes to plan, host, and create the best kids' party. There are even some pretty original, party friendly recipes... like Bacon Burger on Stick, Pizza in a Jar, and Spaghetti & Meatball Sticks.

My favorite part of this whole book is that there's a quiz in the beginning that determines your party style! How cool is that?? The results are super helpful when reading through the rest of the book. My results said I'm a Pinning Host! {Uh, spot on! I love me some Pinterest for party planning!}

Gemma is a party planning Goddess. She's the publisher and author of two style magazines, runs a leading style blog and has been a regular stylist for Hollywood stars. Gemma has put all her amazing party styling tricks and tips into Party Style: Kids' Parties From Baby to sweet 16, which you can get a sneak peek of here. You can also have a look inside before purchase here. And as a bonus, when you purchase you get over $2,500 worth of exclusive party printables! These printables are so detailed and contribute to building the perfect party planning folder, one of Gemma's great tips!

  10. The more corporate holiday party ideas I find the more I am learning about throwing a good party. It is always a good idea to write down such tips or putting them on a computer. Because many times you will find yourself preparing for a party in a hurry.
