With that said, I did get some new lighting for each side of the bed and it just makes me feel all sorts of happy now that the lights are installed. Not only is it new lighting, it's the only lighting I've had in my master since I moved in, in September! That's right, I've been using my master bathroom light and the outside hall lights to help until I found the right fixtures, and for the right price. But at last, thanks to my friends at ParrottUncle, I was able to find just the perfect lighting for my husband and me to enjoy in our space.
How perfect are the sconces I got?! After living in Europe, my hubs and I have become very fond of European furniture and have switched out all of our oversized furniture and fixtures for simpler, basic, clean lined furniture. I needed a lighting fixture that was going to fit in with the new style in our room, was going to stand out on it's own, and I definitely wanted something my hubs was going to be happy with, ie: not too feminine. After going through all the stunning, unique, and well priced lighting fixtures ParrotUncle had to offer {not an easy feat, as there are sooooo many lamps, sconces, and lights to choose from lol} I was able to finally choose a style I had to have.
I first wrote about how if you're looking for light fixtures, you should definitely look first to ParrotUncle for all your needs, and I stand by my claim. Even though I didn't choose the largest, most modern fixtures for my bedroom, I'm still so in love with my new retro industrial side sconces. I will add that my sconces didn't come with a cord, rather they are meant to be attached to an existing electrical wire. However, my hubs happens to have a degree in electrical engineering {a profession he has never worked in lol} and was able to add cords to my fixtures in no time.
So yeah, I might not have gotten around to painting my room yet, hopefully sometime in the near future once it stops raining, but I did get some killer new lights and a bit of a room makeover.

ReplyDeleteThe lights are really great and they don't take up any table space so this is definietly a plus. Junior is not too happy with them though!
