Our Family Easter

Another Easter has come and gone but boy was it a good one. I really look forward to Easter each year and try to go all out for my kids. This Easter was pretty important for me, as it was the last one in our family home. Since we will be selling our home and moving to Chicago soon, I'm really trying to make the most of our time left in this house... especially since Jakob won't remember living here when he's older.

I do the usual activities with my kids, painting eggs and Easter egg hunts. The weather was perfect here in SoCal, which made the excitement of having an early backyard hunt that much better. We went to Mass and had Easter lunch at my mom's. Jakob ate waaayyyy too much candy, and Lukas went bananas over all the Pokemon cards he received from the Easter Bunny. It was an easy weekend and one I hope my kids cherish as much as I do.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter... and have an amazing week!
xoxo

  5. So glad you guys had a great Easter and the weather cooperated! You hid tons of eggs, how fun! We only did 10 for each kid, but they still had fun. :) We usually dye eggs on Easter Sunday, but we ran out of time yesterday so I think we'll be doing that today, lol.

    1. Oh my gosh, I was up all night trying to find all the matching egg parts. I had so many left over form the previous years that I thought I'd use them all. Not all were filled, that would have taken too long! I hope you had a wonderful Easter, too!!
