Simple Diaper Towers *for those who don't make diaper cakes

Have you recently gone to a baby shower and been totally blown out of the water by a uniquely displayed diaper cake? Do you often feel left out when others bring elaborately designed diaper cakes to a shower and you show up with a box? Well, let me tell you, I have. Where as I've tried on several occasions to make a creative diaper cake for a friend, they just never turn out how I envision them, leaving me tossing the diapers in a bag. Now, I know image isn't everything and any new parents would be more than happy just to get loads of diapers as a gift; however, it's always fun to get creative with the diapers. So I've started doing something a bit more simple and different when gifting a new mom diapers... diaper towers. They take all of 5 minutes to make, they look good next to any traditional diaper cake, and you can make them with any size diapers, which I love to do!

Making diaper towers are really simple, you only need these 5 items:
  • A box of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers, I used size 4
  • A roll of clear packing tape
  • Scissors
  • Yarn, ribbon or wrapped wiring, I used wrapped wiring
  • A card or note

What you'll do:
  • Take the diapers out of the packaging.
  • Wrap tape {one time} around one stack of diapers. This way you don't have to worry about the diapers slipping out of the stack.
  • Wrap ribbon, yarn, or wrapped wiring around the perimeter of two stacks and tie into a decorative bow on top of the stack of taped diapers.
  • Set on display with a card or cute note for the parents to be. {This almost seems too easy!}

When giving diapers as a gift, I always go with my goto diapers, Huggies Snug & Dry. I know from personal use with all three of my kids that Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers provide up to 12 hours of protection. I was able to get a large 200 count box of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers at Sam's Club... do you have a Sam's Club membership? I have always enjoyed buying in bulk because it helps me stock up on the things my family loves, while saving me money. And with a toddler who goes through diapers like crazy, I love knowing I'll never run out of diapers, and I can keep making diaper towers for my friends. Not to mention, Sam's Club members save over $10 on Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers {major bonus!}. Plus, here's a coupon for $7 off a box of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers at Sam's Club!

*When you're in Sam's Club, the diapers are located on the back wall, not down an aisle.

For those of you who are like me and just can't seem to get it right when making a diaper cake, these diaper towers are for you! Do you love giving diapers as gifts in a creative way? And do you have a Sam's Club membership yet, so you can save on all your diaper needs?! Let me know what your favorite diaper creation is... and as always, have a wonderful day!

  3. I love Huggies Snug and Dry! My son is 10 months and we have been using them since he was born. We tried a few others, but they either leaked or gave him a rash. Love the diaper tower idea as well, I am not very good at diys, but this looks like something I can't mess up!
