Early Autumn Nature Walk

Oh, these Fall days are really something here in Chicagoland. I have always been a fan of the cooler months and turning leaves but missed out on much of that living most of my life in Southern California. Now that I'm here in the Midwest, I get to really experience the cooler weather and I really love it. However, ask me that in January after the snow has fallen and the temps go below 0. I'll prob be signing a different tune then lol. But now that the weather is in the low 60's during the day, I get to get out with my kids and take the best nature walks, exploring our new neighborhood, town and all the trees around us. Every week, there is somewhere new to explore, and it's gorgeous! I'm still waiting on the trees to turn the colors of the sun, but don't really mind all the green that surrounds our little town.

Another part of the cooler months that gets me so elated is the Fall fashion. Sweaters, boots, scarves... all of it, I'm looking forward to. And I started by getting some new oversized sweaters. Who doesn't love a cozy sweater to throw on while lounging around the house on a rainy day, or to have to keep warm while out and about with the kids? I know I do, it's definitely my go-to staple piece for this Fall. I found mine here and I absolutely love how soft it is, and the fact I got a great deal on it!! What's your fav piece of clothing for Fall?? I know a lot of people love the boots!

Have a wonder Wednesday and enjoy the cooler weather and all the beauty that nature has to offer!! Oh and yeah, that would be a big ol' pile of goose poop that Jakob and I are pointing to in the pics. He loves him some poop.
