LOVE Inspired Decor +Master Bedroom Details

Happy Monday happy people! Looking at my calendar right now, I'm having a hard time dealing with the fact that in little over a week, it will be February! Yes, I'm one of these horribly annoying people who can't handle how quickly time flies by, and find myself spending most of my day stressing about wasted minutes and missed opportunities. But I digress, that is not what this post is about. No, today's post is about adding a little thing called love back into your bedroom...but in a crafty way ha.

Back in November, my hubs bought a bed to end all beds. It's huge, it rustic and it's nothing that I had in mind when I started designing my bedroom. But I pride myself on being non-confrontational and enjoy a good compromise (most of the time), so he got the bed on the condition that I could add little touches femininity to the space. He agreed and I was left with a giant, dark wood bed and a room I had no idea how to decorate.

Then something amazing happened... while scoping out the clearance section at Hobby Lobby, I came across a package of love inspired prints for only $1. This got my crafty juices flowing. I bought some spray paint, pulled out some old frames, and found paper and washi tape to create a little LOVE gallery in my bedroom. For about $5, I was able to create a space in my room that screams me, while still matching whatever eclectic theme I'm going for in the design. And I kind of love how it all turned out ha.

On on a side note, most of the little vases, books, and side table items, along with my gorgeous gold framed mirror, I found at a local thrift shop for under $40! All that's left for my master is a couple bigger pieces of furniture, drapes {because the ones in there now are nasty with a capital N}, some plants, and a table. I can't wait to reveal the room once it's complete, it's been such a long time coming!

Have a wonderful rest of the month, you know, because I'm already into March ;-)
